Our award winning film "El Evangelista' Turns 20 in 2025! It is being tediously re-edited from the original source tapes, remixed, and re-graded. Both image and audio are carefully being cleaned up using some of the latest tools available. We shot it digitally when the standard in the film industry was to still shoot on celluloid film. Now most filmmakers around the word shoot digitally. Even so, we made the movie with limited and minimal resources, so even in 2005 it was technically not "up to par" with standard movies of the day. Yet today, digital tools and A.I. are making it possible for little movies like ours to continue to be available for new generations to enjoy while looking and sounding better than ever. It still takes tremendous man-power, hard work and effort to apply these tools into action; and literally frame by frame. After almost a year of remastering "The Evangelist", it should be available later this year on various streaming plateforms.
